Certificate Course in Early Childhood Development – 2nd Batch Launched Successfully
The Center for Open and Distance Learning (CODL), University of Colombo is pleased to announce the successful launch of the 2nd batch of the Certificate Course in Early Childhood Development.
The programme was inaugurated on 9th January 2026, with lectures commencing on 10th January 2026. The batch consists of 54 students.
This certificate course, conducted in collaboration with the Faculty of Education, is designed to provide foundational knowledge and practical skills in early childhood development, with a focus on the cognitive, emotional, and social development of young children. It is particularly beneficial for aspiring preschool teachers, childcare providers, and individuals interested in the field of early childhood education.
