Workshop on Bid Evaluation - 2025 October

The Centre for Open and Distance Learning (CODL), University of Colombo, proudly organized a highly insightful workshop on “Bid Evaluation” on Wednesday, 22nd October 2025.

We were honoured to have Mr. Ivan Tissera, Commission Member of the National Procurement Commission (NPC) and a renowned Procurement Capacity Building Expert, as the Resource Person. His extensive expertise and decades of experience in public service enriched the session with invaluable knowledge, providing participants with comprehensive guidance on the latest procurement regulations, evaluation criteria, and best practices for ensuring transparency and efficiency in the bidding process.

The workshop saw the active participation of officials engaged in procurement, financial management, and administrative roles, making it a vibrant and interactive learning experience. The session empowered attendees with the practical skills necessary to navigate complex bid evaluations and uphold the highest standards of accountability within state, provincial, and statutory institutions.
