Mastering Salary Conversion: Insights from the Recent CODL Workshop

The Centre for Open and Distance Learning (CODL), University of Colombo, proudly organized a highly insightful workshop on “Salary Conversion” on Thursday, 16th October 2025.

We were honoured to have Mr. Nalaka Dissanayake, Senior Assistant Secretary (Parliamentary Affairs) at the Ministry of Public Security and Parliamentary Affairs, as the Resource Person. His expertise and experience enriched the session with valuable knowledge, providing participants with hands-on guidance to master the intricacies of salary calculations and flawlessly handle salary preparations for state, provincial, and statutory institutions.

65 participants, including Development Officers, Management Service Officers, and other officials engaged in salary and wage management, participated in the workshop, making it a vibrant and interactive learning experience.
